The areas of Vidanta East Cape
Describe the hotel in 3 words: The cactus meets the coast.
What is the problem?
In October 2024, Vidiata Group, one of the MexicoThe biggest hotel brands have quietly unveiled its latest jewel, hidden on the east of the east of Baja California on. The property, a sprawling retirement of 3,000 acres by the sea, is approximately 45 minutes by car from San José del Cabo airport, so it looks like a peaceful escape from the lively tourist atmosphere for which the region is known. In addition to that, the eastern cape has more sandy beaches and calmer waters, in fact swimming, thanks to its position along the Turquoise sea of Cortez.
For those looking for something more exclusive than the Los Cabos Resort de Vidanta, the East Cape Estates only has 20 rooms available, each offering the luxury of a 24/7 butler team. Accommodation is far from the cookie. Think of one, two or after four bedrooms with a gourmet kitchen, a separate dining room, a deep private pool and a balcony with a dramatic view of the region's tropical desert landscape, including the Sierra de la Laguna mountains. Property customers are also aware of its private beach club, two swimming pools, signature restaurants and the practice.
The best room:
The Empire Estate Estates with four bedrooms is the largest and most expensive accommodation option in the hotel, at a cost of $ 17,010 per night. Ideal for families or large groups of friends, the unit can contain up to 12 people and includes two King-size beds and four doubles. It is also delivered with four and a half bathrooms, plus three jacuzzi baths. Outside on the enveloping terrace, you will find a plunging pool, an outdoor dining room and many long chairs.
The suites range from one, two or four bedrooms.

Support
Did they praise you by name to recording?
Yes, I was welcomed by name as soon as I jumped from the car after 45 minutes by car from Cabo airport. The general manager Erika Patlan met me at the front entrance, as well as Jose Angel, one of my butler allocated for the trip, and the registration process was completed from my room.

Welcome to the ready drink and to wait until your arrival? Point bonus if it was not only fruit juice.
Yes, the hotel has a welcome drink called Guanabana Estates which is made with Guanabana (or Soursope), mineral water, ginger, pineapple juice and a touch of lemon. Angel gave me a drink on arrival with the possibility of completing it with sparkling wine, which I accepted with pleasure. All the heads of Margarita – Téquila, Triple dry, salt and limes – also awaited me in my room, as well as a cheese and a plate of fruit.
Private Butler for each room?
No, not for each room, but rather each floor has a dedicated butler team. During my stay, we stayed in touch via WhatsApp, and I sent them a text when I needed a golf car at the beach at the beach and to have a lunch by the pool, among others.

Is the number of sheets in sheet greater than 300?
Higher. The linen that the domains have chosen was a count of 400 teas and 100%cotton.
Is there a floor heated in the bathroom? And a bidet?
No heated floors and no bidet. But it's Mexico, after all, not Europe.
Are the toiletries of full size?
No, the Fiore Acqua toiletries were not full, but the two bathrooms were filled with an abundance of equipment beyond your standard shampoo and your shower gel. Think of a shoe varnish, an insectifuge and after shaving.
Is there a private swimming pool for the exclusive use of the room?
Yes, each suite has an outdoor balcony provided with a plunging basin, with perfect views of the Baja peninsula and beyond. The property also has two common watering holes when you feel social, one of which is located on a roof and the other is on the ground floor.
The terraces have private plunging pools and lounge chairs.

Do restaurants are worth their salt?
There were two places to eat and drink: the Sky Garden and the Grill. I had breakfast in the old one, which is an outdoor restaurant on the pool terrace on the roof serving breakfast and lunch. The food itself was charming and even leaned a little healthy if you are in this kind of thing. Think of Açai bowls, egg dishes on order, cold pressed juices and smoothies alongside an impressive spread of fresh fruit, yogurt, teas, cafes and pastries (with gluten -free options). The grill, open for dinner, is located on the ground floor next to the other swimming pool. The setting of the outdoor restaurant is magnificent to come and the chef puts forward heavy plates of meat and seafood with at least one of the sector changing daily. The show star was a perfectly cooked door house for two, with the succulent but tromically simple grilled shrimp arriving like a second close. The hotel has an interior catering option, Brezza, in development, but only the Sky Garden and the Grill were open during our stay. It was a bit windy during our winter visit, but the complex had a lot of radiators and draped covers over your shoulder.

Is there caviar on the room service menu? If so, what kind?
There was no caviar on the menu of the chamber service that we could see, but the areas can deliver you a selection of Kaviari caviar anywhere in the hotel on request (so it obtains the point). Instead, you will find classic Mexican dishes on the catering menu in the room, including guacamole with crispy corn tostadas, in addition to the shrimp ceviche in a coconut sauce which is garnished with spicy oil Yahualica Chili.
Do you want to pass Friday evening in the hall bar?
Yes, but maybe not all night. If you are looking for a peak-up before dinner or a high night's cap-this is the place you want to be. The cocktail to order? A Mexican carajillo, made with Espresso and Licor 43, which is both simpler and more delicious than your martini of basic espresso.

Would you buy the hotel if you could?
For the location alone, yes. But that would require a little work. The vision of the East Cape domains includes a golf course Greg Norman (coming soon) and the third restaurant mentioned above nicknamed Brezza, in addition to shopping villages (also to be published). What will not be, however, these are additional developments that block the epic view. And I would still have miles of beach for me.
The verdict
The goddess statues flank each side of the swimming pool.
The areas of Vidanta East Cape
The areas of Vidanta East Cape were the first property of Vidanta in which I stayed, but the Mexican Hospitality Company is definitively on something. Despite the visit during the soft opening of the property, everything went well. The Butler team was welcoming and helpful, without being authoritarian. For the moment, the hotel gymnasium is operational, a practice is open exclusively to customers, and massage cabins are ready for processing services. One, or a few things, which is worthwhile to be written at home is VIP equipment, like a private dinner at sunset on the beach and the chef in the room preparing breakfast. Although the complex has already crossed the finished line, there is still a lot to come. I guess we will have to go back and see for ourselves.
