There is no place like the house. Sometimes he takes off a trip to remember what you have in your own backyard. Now that I am at home with the baby and that I make fewer trips, I have become rewarded with everything there is to offer in Minneapolis / St. Paul. We often receive e-mails from rib readers who end up with a plane ticket for my adoptive hometown. Although I have a list of my restaurants, shops and essential sites, our two cities are in fact quite large: around 20 miles of picturesque neighborhoods, parks, lakes and blocks in the city center to explore.

We were asked to help them concentrate their social media strategy this summer and, through the process, it just seemed obvious to include a small city guide to launch this business!
A little in the district: the business district known under the name of 50th and France obtained its namesake from the two cross streets which mark the center of the district. The animated business group is located in Edina, Minnesota, flanked by Lake Harriet and Minnehaha Creek. This city is known for its large school district, its beautiful parks, its lively artistic fair, and its ideal location with proximity to urban life with all the charm of a picturesque city. The business district has exploded during the decades and it seems more than ever, this idea of a “main street” is as much a matter of community as of prosperity.

- Perc (5023 France avenue Sud Minneapolis MN 55410) – I worked on the park brand in 2012 and I liked to watch them evolve over the years! Park is a shop for women specializing in clothing, jewelry, accessories, apothecary and shoes. They have a large selection of modern essentials for those who like special parts that will not break your budget.
- Grethhen house (4930 France avenue SudEdina MN 55410) – For a very long time, Grethhen was the only place in the cities where you could find designer failures. They continued to organize a high -end collection of women and accessories by advanced designers, including Isabel Marant, Mother Denim, Yigal Azrouel, Cut 25, Frank & Eileen Shirts and Rick Owens. The personal experience you get to Grethhen House is very different from what you get at Barney! This family shop is one of my favorite places in France.
- BlueBird Boutique (3909 West 50th StreetEdina MN 55424) – Created in 2004, BlueBird Boutique offers vintage jewelry and contemporary women's brands, such as Citizens of Humanity, Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent, Elizabeth & James, Hanky Panky and Saint Grace. It is an excellent store for quality bases !!
- Salle n ° 3 (4948 France Ave SudEdina MN 55410) – Salle n ° 3 is a female lingerie, sleepless clothes, shape wear and a living room wear shop with a super sophisticated dealer. I want to live in this space almost! Once this baby weight is melts, I come back to beautiful little things from this store.
- Spruce Flowers and Home (4940 France avenue SudEdina MN 55410) – Loon describing itself as “a flower shop with a new approach to modern romantic floral designs”, SPRUCE has become my essential resource for beautiful arrangements and superb flowers. Their beautiful shop has large gifts and their vases are the most beautiful memories after your flowers have transmitted. They have a huge cooler without an appointment full of exquisite flowers and a large selection of homemade plants, terrariums, house scents, ships and jewelry.
- Bombershute (5014 France avenueEdina MN 55410 ) – Bumbershute is another fantastic shop for the latest fashion creations. You will find 3.1 Phillip Lim, Alc, Alexander Wang, Frame Denim, Goldsign, Helmut Lang, Iro, Joy, L’Agene, Rag & Bone and more. It is also worth checking their selection of shoes, handbags, jewelry and other established and emerging designer accessories.
- Bone adventure (5045 France avenue SudEdina MN 55410) – The coolest gadgets, equipment, food and clothing for fur friend in your life. This shop is ideal for animal owners who are looking for products well designed for their pets (and themselves)!
- Yoga adjustment (4507 France avenue SudMinneapolis MN 55410) – The Yogafit mission is to provide yoga at all levels of experience in an affordable and non -intimacy. My favorite aspect of the Yogafit membership program is 24 -hour access, day or night, so you can get your training in any schedule.
- dphue (4944 France avenue SudEdina MN 55410) – DPHUE is a completely new concept: they directly bring professional and better hair hair colors – as well as expert advice and step -by -step education. Consider it as the hair color in the living room, to take away. In addition to their living room and colors consulting services, they have created an incredible range of hair care products that are also excellent on treated hair not in color. - yield (3922 West 50th Street, Suite 103Edina MN 55424) – Goglow is the only Minnesota sunless tanning supplier who received a Best of Beauty Prix from Minnesota and assessed 5 stars in their number for the best New York spray tanning tanks in Los Angeles. You are in good hands with these guys!
- Lollipop (4942 France avenue SudEdina MN 55424) This is the coolest baby gift shop in the city. They have several locations in the city, it being at a distance from all your other shopping needs. They have clothes (up to size 12), wooden toys, equipment, nursery furniture, decoration and more.
- LUSH (3915 West 50th StreetEdina MN 55424) – Hello, bath bombs! You probably know the lush craft cosmetics, they offer selections of environmentally friendly skin care, hair care, bath and body products and gifts loaded with natural ingredients. The “Cosmetic-Deli” is a really fun shopping experience and I like to enter to try something new for a little time “Treat Yo Self”.
- Cooks of Crocus Hill (3925 W. 50th StreetEdina MN 55424) – Yes, there is even a place to increase the bet on your kitchen skills! Cooks of Crocus Hill is the essential place of our state for culinary products and instruction for 40 years. They have since developed the company to include three cooking schools that organize a variety of cooking lessons and offer experiences of private events, as well as three retail stores selling culinary equipment, small goods, books and packaged foods. Joe and I take a course on the site of Edina at the end of the month and we are delighted to learn something new!
