Video. Millions of people participate in the national exercise of the earthquake across Mexico

The alarms sounded through the Mexican capital as part of the first national financial year 2025, which prompted residents to carry out emergency evacuation exercises.

The exercise, aimed at improving preparation and response times in the event of a real earthquake, was organized by the Ministry of Security and Citizen Protection.

Authorities said that around 30 million people had participated in simulation, which involved activating the seismic alert system in several regions vulnerable to seismic activity.
