At the Aquario de Rio de Janeiro, divers carrying rabbit ears distributed special eggs to marine animals as part of an event on the theme of Easter, offering an engaging experience to visitors both underwater and on earth.
Beyond the show, the aquarium used the event to raise awareness of the sustainable consumption of fish.
The demand for fish traditionally increasing during Holy Week, in particular Good Friday, the aquario urged the public to avoid endangered species such as the Spotted Sorubim and the groups. These fish, vital for oceanic ecosystems, are protected by Brazilian law.
