British Tommy Fury will return to the ring against Kenan Hanjalic in Budapest on May 9.
The 25 -year -old Cruiserweight has not fought since beat youtuber ksi – Real Name Olajide William OLATUNJI – In a boxing match 18 months ago.
After announcing the return to his social networks last week, it was now confirmed that Fury will face Bosnian Hanjalic, 27.
Hanjalic has fought five times since its professional debut in 2019, winning four times and losing once.
Fury, which is undefeated in 10 fights, underwent surgery after his victory over Ksi in Manchester, a fight that was not authorized by the British Boxing Board of Control.
“The most difficult battle I faced was the mental battle to be far from boxing,” he said.
“But I'm back stronger, sharper and more Hungary than ever.”
Fury was to face the veteran of the UFC Darren until January, but withdrew from the competition after Threats of her opponent's “mma tactics”.
The Englishman is currently based in Budapest, Hungary, while he trains for his return.
Fury will fight on the same card as his brother, Roman Fury, who will face Josip Pehar Croate in a heavyweight competition.
