A Missouri university football player has died … and the cops say they suspect that an accidental shot injury was the cause.
Todric McGee – A four -year player from the state of Missouri – was hospitalized Friday after the injuries suffered at his residence, according to the Missouri sports department.
The Springfield police department said to TMZ … They received a call on a wellness check Friday morning – arriving at the scene to find a man identified later as McGee, who, according to them, suffered an “accidental accidental shot injury”. We are told that he was transported to the hospital, where he died of his injuries on Saturday.
McGee played security with the Bears of the Missouri State of 2021-2024 and entered its fifth year with the program.
He was appointed player of the All-Missouri Valley football conference in 2023 and received several other honors during his mandate.

Missouri state coach Ryan Beard published a statement, crying for the loss of Todric and asking people to respect the private life of his family and his team at that time.
McGee was only 21 years old.
