An employee of Gameday Pirates Gameday was suspended by the team following an post-match altercation with a fan who was taken on video, by Barry Pintar of CBS Pittsburgh.
The altercation would have taken place at the PNC Park after the match on Sunday, A loss of 4-0 to the Padres of San Diego. According to CBS, it started when the fan and his friend started to harass a women's concession employee.

The employee of Gameday, who was not identified, would have intervened and diverted the two men far from his colleague, the date on which the situation was heated with an argument opposite. The video taken by a passerby shows that the employee trying to move away but being followed and mocked by the fan. In the video, the employee finally responds by punching.
The employee seems to take five strokes at the head of the fan, who stays on his feet. Later, the fan sees spitting on the employee, who then removes his belt and begins to whisk the fan.
The pirates published a statement to CBS saying that the employee had been suspended and that the case was the subject of an investigation:
“We are aware of the unfortunate incident that occurred following the conclusion of yesterday's match between an employee of the PNC Park Game Day and a guest. The employee's behavior was fully unacceptable, and he was immediately suspended. This incident is currently under deepened investigation.”
