TThe Bolshoi Theater in Moscow has witnessed some of the biggest ballet dancers in the world, from Vaslav Nijinsky to Galina Ulanova – legendary names whose fame lives the decades after their last shame of stage.
More recently, he hosted fewer illustrious performers. The Bolchoi was the decor of the first appearance in a main role by Maria Shuvalova, a 27 -year -old ballerina who also happens to be the daughter of Igor Shuvalov, a former senior Russian government who now heads the VEB bank supported by the Kremlin.
