The Tony Awards Administration Committee has announced that, on the basis of the recommendation of the American Theater Critics Association, the Muny – The Municipal Theater Association of St. Louis – will receive the Tony Tony 2025 Prize.
Honor, recognizing a regional theater company which has shown a continuous level of artistic success contributing to the growth of theater on a national scale, is accompanied by a subsidy of $ 25,000, made possible by the national bank of the city.
Now entering its 107th season to St. Louis, the Muny, the oldest and the largest outdoor musical theater in the country, is a non -profit organization dedicated to the production of musical theater, accessible to all. The Muny welcomes more than 300,000 customers each summer in Forest Park.
The 78th Tony Awards annual will be organized by Cynthia Erivo at the Radio City Music Hall on Sunday June 8.
