To the editor: I believe that the best reason why the life sentence of the Menendez brothers in 1995 without the possibility of parole should be confirmed. If their sentence is reduced, modified, rejected – or even if a new trial is granted – hundreds or even thousands of similar verdicts deserve similar treatment?

To the editor: It is overwhelming to follow your coverage of the Menendez brothers. It is sad because he has the impression that Momentum is built for the release of the brothers. Your governor would commit suicide political, locally and national, by supporting this release and, in the rest of the country, the opinion of him and the whole state of California is already quite negative. The brothers deserve to stay in prison until their death.
