ST. Johns – A man from St. Johns faces four crime accusations after state investigators have entered into proofs from his home and arrested them, saying that he shared sexually abusive equipment on the Internet involving children.
Alexander Snyder, 32, was arrested on Friday May 2, on unique charges of aggravated possession of abusive sexually involving a child, distributing sexually abusive equipment involving a child, possession of sexually abusive documents involving a child and use of a computer to commit a crime, according to online judicial archives.
Lawyer Eric Tomal, who represents Snyder in the district court 65-A of St. Johns, according to the judicial archives, was not immediately joined to comment.
Michigan state police said on May 7 on X, an investigation started when the police “learned that Snyder shared sexually abusive material files on the Internet”.
Police arrested Snyder after digital evidence was entered from his home, said MSP.
The IT crimes of the Michigan State police and the Internet Crimes Working Group announced the arrest.
The IT crimes unit MSP encourages parents to talk to their children about the safe use of the Internet.
