Rome (AP) – An Italian Court of Appeal confirmed on Friday for life for a Pakistani couple found guilty of having murdered their 18 -year -old daughter in a so -called honor after refusing an arranged marriage. The court confirmed a perpetuity imprisonment for the teenager's father, Shabbir Abbas, and his mother, Nazia Shaheen. He also sentenced two cousins to life imprisonment which had previously been authorized by a lower court.
Saman's uncle, Danish Hasnain, was also sentenced to 22 years in prison for his involvement in murder. He had already been sentenced to 14 years old.
