Tokyo: Japanese rescuers have recovered the body from a truck driver who was swallowed by a huge chasm Near Tokyo three months ago, an official said on Friday May 2.

“We discovered a man inside the truck cabin and confirmed his death, then transmitted the incident to the police,” a spokesperson for the local fire service on Friday.
A police spokesman said investigations were underway, in particular by officially confirming the identity of the body.
“Until the end of his life, my father, who had a strong heart, was to hope to go home – fighting fear and pain – which makes me feel a tightening in my heart,” said a member of the family of the anonymous driver in a press release from Japanese media.
“I cannot believe or accept the fact that my father, who was loved by everyone, suddenly disappeared,” said the press release.
