Austin, Texas – Any concern that the Recent legal terrpration implying the star Blake Lively could exceed the world premiere of “another simple favor” at Sxsw were hidden long before the start of the film on Friday. From a script credited in Sharzer and Laeta Kalogridis, the new film opens with Stephanie de Kendrick at the interior residence in Capri, accused of having murdered the new husband of Emily de Lively. The film then flashes to show Emily, apparently released from prison, reintegrating itself into the life of Stephanie and ready to head towards a glamorous marriage in Italy to a mysterious suite, beautiful and rich Dante (Michele Morrone).
With Stephanie again uncertain of the real patterns of Emily, she takes the magnificent setting and finds the mystery deepening when she meets Emily's mother (Elizabeth Perkins) and Aunt (Allison Jenyy). Lively said: “I love this character so much. It is probably my favorite character that I have never had the chance to play. And so when Paul asked us to come back, I was so excited.
