The San Antonio Spurs already have its replacement for the legendary head coach Gregg Popovich. The team would have hired Mitch Johnson – who filled Popovich last season – as the next team coach, according to Shams Charania d'Espn.
Johnson was an acting coach of the team last year after Popovich took leave after a stroke. Popovich spent the rest of the season recovering from his stroke, but decided to resign Like the Spurs coach on Friday.
