It's officially here. This ephemeral magical season of spring. It's time to open the windows, put away the heavy sheets, start thinking about eating outdoors, putting the table back and gathering with friends and family. It's time to get the most out of it.
I have good memories of Easter. The family gathered on a giant ham, often in the beautiful house of my father's parents; I would have on my white socks with frills while looking for my Easter basket. I think I'm almost as excited as my children for the next vacation! It's a chance to see the whole family together again.
I am not organizing this year this year, but I am ready to exchange some of my table landscape items for the season. This little something – I do not go away very far from the classic table parameter, but I like to add my own “something extra” when I entertained. I kept everything very neutral for this table setting with very subtle touches of color. I went with white on white dishes and simple cutlery, the supplement being a checkered linen combination.
Accommodation is my language of love. I love everything about it, from planning to cooking through the table setting. I want all those who are sitting at my table to feel welcome and special.
