Los Angeles Dodgers will be without Shohei Ohtani this weekend, although it is for a good reason.
Ohtani remained in Los Angeles while the dodgers went to northern Texas to launch their series with the Rangers on Friday, confirmed the manager Dave Roberts, via Los Angeles Times. Ohtani and his wife, Mamiko Tanaka, are waiting for the birth of their first child this weekend.

The Dodgers called Eddie Rosario to replace Ohtani on the list during his absence.
Ohtani was incredibly private in his personal life.
