Sean Lowe, who was attacked last week by his Moose rescue boxer, had to remedy another rescue dog a few years ago after he sang one of his children.
The 41 -year -old dog lover and star of season 17 of “The Bachelor”, who is still married to the latest Rose recipient, Catherine (GIUDICI) LOWE, said in a video published Monday that she had grilled with friends at their home in Dallas last week when the barbecue smoke triggered the smoke alarm inside the house. The bright sound, combined with Sean Lowe waving a cloth to try to clean the smoke, seemed Trigger Moose, who attacked its owner, Snow one of Lowe's arms in the process.
Catherine and their children – Samuel, 8, Isaiah, 6, and Mia 5 – did shopping during the first attack. Sean said there was a video surveillance video, but that she was “too violent” for him.
The next day, when Lowe was in the courtyard before with her children and parents, who were about to spend the day of the house, Moose missed through the front door and attacked again, this time biting in Lowe's other arms. Lowe said he had managed to fight the “so strong … so explosive” boxer on the ground and held him there for 10 minutes until the police arrived.
The two attacks led to emergency trips and stitches for Lowe. The bruises that escape could be seen in the video around the injuries on Lowe's arms.
Although it was clear in the video that Moose was no longer in Lowe's family home, we don't know exactly what happened to him. Sean Lowe never mentioned euthanasia. Rather, he said he was really missing their dog.
After the first attack, said Lowe, he called local animal control and obtained an officer who also had a boxer and was “very friendly”. The officer told Lowe to make his planned calls to their animal adoption agency and shelters without killers, then recalling it, saying that they “would understand this together”.
Previously, the Lowe family had a rescue of Bull Mastiff, Gus, who bit the son Samuel in 2023 after the boy tried to look and pet him. The animal had previously shown signs of “resource guard” and assault to his daughter Mia. “I don't blame Moose a little,” said Lowe in the video. “It was not the fault of Ogoose. I think it is clear that he suffered a lot of trauma before having it.”
And whatever happened, he said, something on the back of the smoke “overturned this switch” to Moose. The people of the adoption of animals told him that they were not aware of the events of the dog's life that would have led to this.
