At least three civilians were injured as a result of Russian drone attacks against the Ukrainian port city of Odesa.

The attack sparked fires and caused numerous damage to local infrastructure with a church and a pharmacy among the damaged buildings, regional authorities reported.

The Air Force of Ukraine said that Russia had launched 97 drones early Tuesday morning, 57 of which were slaughtered.

Drone's attack on Odesa was followed by the bombing of the port city of Kherson on Wednesday morning.

The strike resulted in death and at least three injuries, according to Ukraine’s emergency services.

Last week, the Russian army received an international conviction for the death of 34 civilians in the city in the northeast of Sumy while celebrating on Sunday branches.

The attacks occur only a few hours after NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte finished a surprise visit to Odesa where he met Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“I am here today because I believe that the people of Ukraine deserve real peace, real security and security in their country, at home,” said Rutte, adding that he supported the cease-fire talks in Saudi Arabia.
