Moscow (Reuters) – The mayor of the Russian port city of NovorossiSisk said the state of emergency on Saturday after the local authorities said that a Ukrainian drone attack damaged a cereal terminal and several residential buildings, injuring five people.

There was no immediate commentary on Ukraine, which the Air Force said Russia attacked Ukraine overnight with 183 drones and two ballistic missiles.

Andrei Kravchenko, the mayor of the Russian city of the Black Sea of ​​Novorossisk, was shown by inspecting damage to three apartment buildings in a video published on his official telegram account.

The video showed debris scattered in front of the apartments, a crushed car, windows and blocked balconies suspended from the facade of buildings.

Kravchenko said one of the people injured, a woman, was in the hospital in a serious situation. Two children were also injured, local authorities said.

Governor of the Southern Russia region of Krasnodar, Veniamin Kondratyev, said that falling drone debris also damaged three storage units in a grain terminal in NovorossiSk, triggering a fire.

No one had been injured, he said.

Delo Group, the owner of the damaged grain terminal, said in a statement that a clear-UP was underway and that a fire had been extinguished.
