Collin Morikawa will have to wait to return to the winner's circle.
After leading during most of the day, Collin Morikawa tripped in the section of the Bay Hill Club and Lodge in Orlando, Florida, Sunday afternoon. This opened the door to Russell Henley, who found a late clutch slide, to get in advance and win the victory at Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Henley posted a 20-mes of 70 during her last round, which brought him 11 a week and gave him a victory on Morikawa. This marked his first victory on Tour since the World Technology Championship 2022, and finally ended a section where he accumulated 10 TOP-10 since the start of the 2024 campaign. It was the most of the PGA Tour in this time without victory.

Victory too won a salary of $ 4 million in HenleyWhich has more than doubled its current income over the season.
“It's incredible,” said Henley on NBC. “Hat in Collin, he played very well today. He played super stable. Sometimes the golf is just like that.”
Henley started the day, a return from Morikawa, which emptied a long putt of Birdie to close his day on Saturday and take the advance in solo. But slowly, Henley held the pace and waited for Morikawa to stumble on her new back. Finally, he moved to 16.
Henley, after Morikawa made two bogeys on her new back, emptied a perfect chip of the rough thickness on the other side of the green for an eagle. It instantly threw him in the head solo.
The two of them both spoke on the 17th, then Henley wanted to win the victory at the last one.
“Just so nervous, incredibly nervous. I feel like I can't breathe right now,” he said on NBC after victory. “It's so difficult and so difficult around this place … This game is so difficult and it was incredibly difficult.”

The victory was Henley's fifth in his career and his first in more than 850 days. He now has four TOP-10 in six starts this season, including a T5 finish at AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and a T6 finish last week in Cognizing Classic.
Morikawa, who had a two-stroke advance with only five holes to play, finished with a 72 pair-by-dimanche on Sunday. The 28-year-old has been at the top of the official world ranking for years now, but he has not won since his victory in the Zozo 2023 championship. Morikawa made eight top-10 last season, including a second place pair, a T3 at T3 at the Masters and a T4 race at the PGA championship. He also missed only two cuts on the season.
This week was only the fourth departure of Morikawa on tour this season. He finished second in The Sentry in January at his beginnings of the season, then he has made his consecutive ends T17 last month. He now has nine first terminals on the PGA Tour in the last two seasons, which is the most of any player without victory.

Corey Conners finished alone in the third at 9 sous, which earned him a place in the Open British later this summer. Michael Kim arrived fourth, and Keegan Bradley and Sepp Straka tied in fifth row at 7 sous.
The PGA Tour will now turn to the players' championship next week at TPC Sawgrass, which is the last signing event of the calendar before the Masters next month.
