Recruitment event of the London Center of the London Center to offer employment possibilities to a maximum of 1,000 candidates in retail, hospitality, leisure, construction and management of facilities

The Crown Domaine in association with British Land, Grosvenor, Shaftesbury Capital, the Westminster Municipal Council and the Department of Labor and Pensions organize `Made in Central London '', a recruitment event to support job seekers at the next stage of their careers.

Takes place on Friday the 16th May from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Londoner hotel in Leicester Square, the event will offer up to 1,000 candidates the possibility of responding to some of the most emblematic companies in hotel, construction, construction and most emblematic facilities.

“Made in Central London” brings together companies and potential employees in a single space, offering short and rapid interviews for live vacancies. Participants could go home during the day with a new role, because the event accelerates the traditional job application process by removing the need for CV screening.

The previous recruitment events organized by the Crown Estate facilitated 4,300 interviews, with 876 candidates going to second stage interviews on 142 different brands and companies from the West End. Now, the Crown area seeks to increase its impact by uniting its forces with other real estate companies operating locally.

More than 30 companies will recruit during the event, in particular major retail brands such as Liberty, Jo Malone, Burberry and Fortnum & Mason, as well as leisure and reception operators such as Gordon Ramsay restaurants, clays and the pink of chancer, opening the end of summer. Construction and management companies, including CBRE, will also be present.

Supporting the retail, hospitality and construction sectors, the event aims to support the growth of the West End economy. Generating 9 billion pounds sterling per year and supporting 560,000 jobs, the West End has one of the highest employment densities in the world. By facilitating employment possibilities, the real estate sector actively stimulates retail, hospitality and leisure to improve the wider reputation of West End as a world class destination.
