Mexican Chavez JR won 53 of his 61 fights and held the WBC's average weight title between 2011 and 2012.
In 2017, he traveled the distance from Pound for Pound Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, but he lost a boxing fight against former UFC champion Anderson Silva in 2021.
In July, Chavez JR was hué by fans after calling Paul after a laborious point victory against MMA Uriah Hall veteran.
“I will show what I can do now that everything is in the right place in my life – mentally and physically,” said Chavez Jr.
“I feel rejuvenated and 10 years younger.”
The Cruiserweight fight will have more than 10 laps of three minutes and the boxers will wear standard gloves of 10 oz.
Paul wore greater gloves and challenged shorter tricks against Tyson, given the age of the former world champion.
The world champion WBA and WBO Cruiserweight, Gilberto Ramirez, will defend his title against the Yuniel Dorticos Cuban during the co-principal event of Paul-Chavez.
The event will be promoted by Paul's most precious promotions, of which he is a co -owner with the businessman Nakisa Bidarian and the Golden Boy promotions of Oscar de la Hoya.
