The American Olympic sprinter Fred Kerley was arrested Thursday for a battery of crimes after having allegedly hitting the ex-girlfriend and Olympic obstacle Alaysha Johnson in a hotel in Florida.
According to an arrest report obtained by TMZ, Dania Beach police arrived at the hotel around 7:48 a.m. to investigate a report by Johnson, 28, declaring that Kerley, 29, had struck him during a packaging appointment before a next track meeting.

Johnson said Kerley had started to argue with her and at some point, said: “I'm going to do a F – K everyone here.”

Kerley would then have struck Johnson, with whom he was previously dated for about six months, “once in the face, which made him bleed his nose”, according to the report.
Police noted that Johnson's injuries “were in accordance with his statements.”
