Noah WyleSuccessful medical drama star “Le Pitt”, “ is not a stranger to sport a stethoscope around his neck and his mother is not either.
Wyle played in “ER” for a large part of the 15 seasons of the series before participating in his role as Dr Michael Robinavitch, or Dr. Robby, on the new Max drama. Although she had seen it in the emergency room in hundreds of episodes from the old series, Wyle's mother, a former orthopedic and operating room, said it, looking at him on “The Pitt” hit him stronger.
Speaking in the episode on Monday from “Fresh Air” of NPR, Wyle told a recent conversation with her mother in which she told him that “the pitt” feels more “real” than “uh”. This feeling of realism comes from the structure of the program – 15 episodes which each represent an hour of a change of emergency room in real time.
Wyle’s mother Marjorie told her son that she was watching an episode in which her character begins to list people who were deceased, finally reaching an emotional break point, Wyle said.
He said it saying to him, “I think I had my own SSPT reaction. I suddenly remembered everyone. I remembered the 4 -year -old child. I remembered the pregnant woman with the baby. I remembered the gang member that I had tried to keep alive by tightening two blood units. ” He said she had tearful eyes while talking to her.
He described their conversation as “this charming moment, in a way cathartic and catalytic” which allowed him to think about the pain that his mother endured during his career as a nurse who lasted more than 35 years.
Talk about Time On the set of the series in March, Wyle also talked about her mother's work and the way her identity as an infirmer has remained with him over the years.
“What I look at with my mother is that my mother is hardcore,” he said. “You can't rub your shoulders too hard where she will be bruised.” If you tease her, she gets angry. But she wore the leg of a man in pathology and did not flash twice. I have a lot of respect for what my mother did and support and transported all day. ”
“The Pitt” was renewed for a second season, thanks to a warm reception of criticism and the public and despite an in progress trial on the series. The succession of Michael Crichton, the creator of “ER”, Television from Warner Bros.Wyle, executive producer John Wells and showrunner R. Scott Gemmill in 2024, saying that “PitT” is a renamed version of an unauthorized “ER” restart. The case is still pending.
