Neither actor Kim Delaney nor her husband will be charged by prosecutors following a domestic dispute that led to the arrest of the two partiessaid the Los Angeles County prosecutor's office on Tuesday.
Delaney, the star of the drama ABC “NYPD Blue”, and her husband, James Morgan, were both arrested on Saturday after what TMZ described as an “animated argument which became physical”. Delaney was reserved by the Sheriff's Department of the County of Los Angeles suspected of assault with a deadly weapon, while Morgan was reserved for the offense of domestic violence.
Three days later, the prosecutors said that the couple of Marina Del Rey would not be charged due to “insufficient evidence”.
The couple got married in 2022, but was quickly faced with problems, and Delaney asked for divorce only after their marriage.
In court documents, Delaney accused Morgan of having attacked her in a hotel in Philadelphia. In her request for a temporary ban order, she told a judge that she was afraid of returning home with Morgan, who, she said, had been arrested for domestic violence in the past.
The prohibition order was granted, but was abandoned after Delaney and Morgan were not presented to the courts. The divorce affair was interrupted.
Barely two weeks ago, Delaney posted a photo of her with Morgan. “Pure love”, read the legend.
