The Israeli army claims that its troops continue “operational activity along the Morag corridor in the Rafah region” in the south of Gaza.
A video published Thursday by the FDIs showed that the troops operated. The army says that it destroyed a training compound in the enclave “which contained a simulation reservoir modeled after an FDI reservoir”.
Israel announced that it had finished building a new safety corridor, essentially separating the southern city of Rafah from the rest of the Gaza strip, which leads the Palestinians more into narrowing earth districts, while the air strikes continued on the other side of the enclave.
The new safety corridor, known as Morag, refers to the name of a Jewish colony which was once between Rafah and Khan Younis.
Meanwhile, Israeli strikes on the enclave during the night after killing at least 23 people, including a family of 10, according to local health officials.
The United Nations have been alarmed on the growing impact of the blockade of Israel, six weeks old, preventing all foods and other supplies from entering the territory.
A strike in the southern city of Khan Younis killed five children, four women and a man from the same family, who have all undergone serious burns, according to Nasser Hospital, which received the bodies.
Strikes in northern Gaza killed 13 people, including nine children, according to health professionals at the Indonesian hospital.
The Israeli army says that it tries to avoid harming civilians and blame their death on Hamas because it operates in residential areas and accuses the group of using them as human shields.
However, there was no immediate Israeli comment on the latest strikes.
The United Nations Humanitarian Office, known as OCHA, said that almost all 2 million inhabitants in Gaza are based solely on the million prepared meals produced daily by the various charities created by food aid groups.
The UN also warned that if the disastrous living conditions do not end soon, a large part of the population risks famine and malnutrition.
Other food distribution programs have closed their lack of supplies, and the UN and other aid groups have sent their remaining actions to charities.
The only other way to get food in Gaza comes from markets, but spiral prices and shortages are widespread, which means that humanitarian aid is the main food source for at least 80% of the population, according to the World Food Program which published the figures for the April publishing of their monthly reports.
The war began when activists led by Hamas attacked southern Israel on October 7, 2023, killing some 1,200 people, mainly civilians and removing 251. Most hostages have since been released in cease-fire or other agreements. Israel saved eight and recovered dozens of bodies.

The figures are not distinguished between civilian victims and combatants. The UN says that around two thirds of the deaths they were able to verify were women and children.
Israel says that he killed around 20,000 Hamas activists, but provided no concrete evidence to safeguard these complaints.
The war has destroyed large parts of Gaza and most of its food production capacities. International organizations say that around 60% of all buildings and critical infrastructure in the enclave have undergone heavy damage or have been completely destroyed. Reconstruction efforts are expected to take decades to restore the band at the pre-war levels.
