New York Knicks goalkeeper Jalen Brunson attracted a blatant fault and the anger of Strait Pistons fans for a glance Thursday evening which did not look like a basketball game.
The incident took place in the first quarter of match 3 of the first -round eliminatory series, which transferred to Detroit after the teams shared matches 1 and 2 in New York.

With 6:20 to play in the quarter and the Knicks holding an advance of 20-11, Tim Hardaway Jr. stopped for a pointer 3 points from the left wing. Brunson ended the defense and hung Hardaway during his shooting motion.
Hardaway fell on the courtyard and tightened his face with pain. The officials called a personal fault on the ground and examined it for a flagrant fault potential.
There was a blatant fault. Brunson blocked his fingers from his right hand to Hardaway's face and pushed him into the left eye during Hardaway shooting.

The officials upgraded the fault towards a flagrant 1 on Brunson for “unnecessary contact above the shoulder level to the shooter with a follow-up of the shooter”. Referee Zach Zarba described the Brunson movement as “not playing natural play on basketball”.
Hardaway received three free throws. He hit them all and pistons kept possession. Hardaway then struck a 3-point on possession that followed for a quick and personal race 6-0 to reduce New York's advance to 20-17.
The playoffs are Heat and get rid of bad blood through the league. Knicks-Pistons is no exception.
