An intruder that was naked and allegedly under the influence of drugs was killed and injured by an owner during a residential break -in in Chino on Tuesday morning April 22, police announced.
Around 11:40 am, the agents of the Chino police department answered a call to 911 of a resident of the 4300 block of the Lombardy court noting that someone had entered their house through a window before. According to the caller, her husband shot the intruder inside the residence.
The police arrived to find the suspect inside the house, completely naked and seeming to be under the influence of the drug, the police said. He was placed in police custody and treated on the premises by paramedical paramedics before being transported to hospital with ball wounds at the lower body. He would have been in a stable state.
Detectives from the Chino Police Service are investigating the case.
The suspect, a 21 -year -old resident of Whittier, is expected to face charging charges after his release from the hospital. The case will be subject to the office of the County Prosecutor of San Bernardino for examination.
