The Financial Times follows temperature increases and other extreme meteorological events and world records, using data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric American administration.

The agency publishes a Monthly global report on key climate anomaliesLike record temperatures, so that scientists and the public can know more about how the planet is doing.

The FT has compiled a selection of these events in a table which can be viewed per month per region. It highlights the extreme weather which has broken records – the “hottest” or most “weet” month in a given region, for example. It will be updated each month when the latest data is published.
