The hunter of MLB referee, Wendelstedt, was able to leave the field on Monday after taking a leading line while working at the first goal in the match between the Minnesota Twins and the New York Mets.
The incident took place in seventh round, the Minnesota holding a 3-0 lead. The food outflow, Tyrone Taylor, struck an online journey on the first base line which struck Wendelstedt to the head and sent it to fall to the ground.
Replay shows that the ball struck Wendelstedt on the left side of its head.

MLB published the following statement: “Hunter undergoes additional tests in Minneapolis, and we are encouraged that he was in a good mood when he was in contact with our medical staff. We will continue to monitor its status. “

Referees that do not operate on the plate are not necessary to wear helmets. The details of the state of Wendelstedt were not immediately clear after the match. Diet manager Carlos Mendoza told journalists that he “heard” Wendelstedt was “good”.
