Washington Nationals Director Davey Martinez, and launcher Jorge López was suspended by the MLB after the team intentionally launched the Pittsburgh Pirates Pirates Andrew McCutchen on Thursday, the League announced.
Martinez received a suspension of a League match. López was suspended for three games after the incident, which occurred during the seventh round of the Wednesday competition. With two withdrawals and a man already on the basis, Lopez struck the Pirates Bryan Reynolds Pirates with land.
