Lansing, Michigan (WLNS) – A Michigan State Police soldier helped find a 2 -year -old child who has disappeared in a ditch near the I -94 in Jackson County on Saturday.

Michigan state police said in a X post That a soldier of the first district post was sent to help the police service in the canton of Blackman, who was looking for a 2 -year -old child who disappeared in Jackson County.

The police said that the child had disappeared for more than an hour and only had a layer.

The MSP Trooper has located a heat signature in a ditch near the I-94 and the airport. After looking for 15 minutes. In a video shared on X, it seems that the soldier was looking for a helicopter.

The soldier coordinated with officers on the ground, and the team was able to find the disappeared child.

Police said the child was not injured but was taken to an ambulance and transported to Henry Ford hospital by Jackson Community Ambulance.
