Tokyo: A man was arrested in the Japanese city of Osaka Thursday, May 1 after having allegedly plowed his car in seven schoolchildren in an alleged deliberate attack, local media said.
The children, who had returned from the school, were injured and transported urgently to the hospital, but the seven remained aware, according to the public broadcaster NHK and other points of sale.
Police could not immediately confirm reports to AFP.
The driver was a 28 -year -old man who lives in Tokyo, and the Osaka police held him suspected of attempted murder, according to reports, citing unidentified sources of investigation.
NHK said the man admitted the accusations to the police and said he was “fed up with everything, so he struck the car thinking of killing someone.”
The car “zigzagge” because she struck the children, with a girl “covered with blood and other children suffering from what seemed to be stripes,” a witness to the Japanese TV diffuser.
The man “wore a surgical mask and seemed to be in shock” after being dragged by the teachers, Japanese TV cited a witness.
