Bangkok: Malaysian Prime Minister and President of the Anase, Anwar Ibrahim, said on Friday April 18 that he had urged the head of the Myanmar junta to respect a cease-fire after the floors in the talks in the back shop in Bangkok.

“I told him that it was important to stop fire,” Anwar told journalists in Bangkok. “It is important to allow humanitarian efforts to cover all of myanmar, regardless of its situation or what political position they take.”

Thursday evening, a Junta of Myanmar declaration made no mention of the openings of Anwar for Peace. He said the talks had focused on “cooperation for rehabilitation after the Myanmar earthquake disaster”.
