To the publisher: The growing ditch between the leaders of the Silicon Valley and the employees is a warning sign flashing in red for awareness (“Political fivid in Silicon Valley: as many technology leaders kiss Trump, their workforce has not done it”, “ April 13). Technological leaders are looking at the agenda of President Trump are risking more harm than anything. The workers feel undervalued and detached from the visions of the technological industry who have promised an emerging union which is aimed at innovation and collaboration.
This disconnection threatens technological culture, building imbalances where innovation suffers and productivity fails. Companies must see the action of a collaborative culture that meets the needs of workers in these industries. The responsibility for leadership and inclusiveness mark a balance of responsibility necessary for progress in the workplace.
It is time for Silicon Valley to see that ethics and unit are essential characteristics of the technological community. Ignoring the concerns of political opportunity shows negligence for workers around the world.
