Letters to the publisher: readers meet as Trump's prices devour the main stock market indices, retirement accounts

To the editor: Each economist and follower of economic history has warned that the prices are bad for our country, but the madman with the red link insists to use them (“The markets plunge after Trump's prices increased the chances of a wider trade war,»April 3). I am not an expert in international trade, but I have a portfolio of shares that has flowed to a new hollow. At least some of the republican voters, and even some of Maga cults, must also have actions. Do they not see that the American economy and their action portfolios are more important than imprisoning American Latin people?

Martin A. Brower, Corona del Mar

To the editor: I hope everyone remembers President Trump's first term. It seemed that every day he took credit for the stock market. In his second mandate, he definitively obtained credit for the drop in the stock market. I'm waiting to hear it boast about it.

Doug Frank, Sim Valley

To the editor: Instead of really determining who had unfair commercial practices, a procedure that would have required in -depth research on commercial policies of each country, our government has chosen to simply create pricing percentages by comparing imports to exports. This is what happens when you dismiss all the statisticians.

Larry Harmell, Granada Hills

..

To the editor: President Trump says that these “radical prices” “will again make America rich”. However, the Dow Jones and Nasdaq indexes both landed on the “Liberation Day”.

Joseph Garcia, Yorba Linda

..

To the editor: I do not pretend to be an expert in economics. President Trump's pricing Blitzkrieg may do all the positive things he says for our country. But I doubt it. Trump does not understand the increase in the costs of his prices to an indirect tax on the American people. I am embarrassed by this president.

Jerold Coleman, Santa Clarita

..

To the editor: One of Trump's worst parts of the prices is their effect on Asian countries on which we are counting to “contain” China. Their rate rates are among the highest Trump imposed and are likely to drive them on the orbit of China.

John Gallogly, Los Angeles

..

To the editor: I look forward to another day of liberation: January 20, 2029. It is the day when we are released from the Trump administration and its Shambolic policies.
