To the editor: A big thank you to the editor Melody Peterson for this great article (“The former executive of Edison Calderon, now legislator, seeks to reduce solar credits on the roof”, “ April 21). I am one of the many who have installed solar panels and batteries at the request of the state. At the time, I was doing home dialysis and any electrical breakdown would have been a danger to health. Now, I have a system that puts the current back on the utility network most of the time and they want to return to the legal agreement that we have signed with them. This is not true.

To the editor: Thank you for your article on Bill 942 of the Assembly. It is high time that someone has told the truth about what public service companies are trying to make people who have trusted the state promises to provide credits if they have added solar energy to their homes. Our network has been in difficulty for a long time and solar customers have been called upon to reduce the load. Now, due to the mismanagement of public services and the paid payments to shareholders, they try to transmit the invoice to those who have already paid. I am deeply disappointed with our governor for buying their plan. If there is justice, AB 942 will fail.
