Letters to the publisher: Greenland represents independence but Trump doesn't care

To the editor: If President Trump is so eager to buy Greenland for national security, international security, resources or something else, why does he not plan to obtain Ukraine and reach the three in the market (“The winners of the Greenland elections oppose Trump's will to take control of the island»March 12)? Do you think that NATO member countries agree?

To the editor: Is there a reason why America must be the first? I am very comfortable that America is equal to our neighbors and allies. He feels arrogant and unpleasant to rename the Gulf of Mexico and suggest that we have to take over Greenland and the Panama Canal.
