To the publisher: I grew up by loving to the library. The beautiful North Hollywood branch in the park was like a second house. My children went there from school with their lessons in the 80s. I hope that President Trump does not kill this experience for children or adults (“Trump cuts library funds. California is a target”, “ April 30). A consequence that I could imagine by its cup of funds is the possible return of late fines, which the Los Angeles public library stopped several years ago. I may have to look for a book that my 5 year old son borrowed from the Anaheim Hills library that I forgot to return before returning to the valley 41 years ago. This fine could compensate for the cuts!
