The mind behind the incredible adjustment is Nneka C. Alexander … and when we talked with her in the days that followed the Iriafen gold and bronze outfit, she became viral, she said that her DMs have gone mad.
She told us that people struck her in search of personalized parts – similar to that of Iriafen rocked on Monday.
Alexander says that the Iriafen dress actually came to life through the vision of the Hooper to honor his Nigerian heritage. Alexander was handpicked to give it life, and the amazing design met in three sketches.
What makes the special moment even even softer … Alexander was there on the evening of the evening in Manhattan to put the dress on the new mystics forward.
Iriafen went on stage in the beautiful dress after Washington took it with the fourth choice in total.
