The dominant start of the Aaron Judge season continued on Sunday afternoon.
The New York Yankees star pushed her average stick over 0.400 while leading the team to a 12-2 victory against athletics in Sacramento. The judge has succeeded in four strokes, which equaled his summit in career – although it was something he has done 13 times in his career now. He also increased his average stick to 0.409 this season. It is by far the highest in the league, well above his teammate Paul Goldschmidt, the second best .349.

The judge now has the fourth best average of the stick with at least 14 home circuits during the first 40 games of the season in the history of the MLB. Only Manny Ramirez, Jimmie Foxx and Mickey Mantle are in front of him on this list.
The first afternoon judge came in the second, when he hit a single two RBI to push the Yankees to a 5-0 lead.
He struck a double in the fourth and then a simple in the fifth, which finally led Goldschmidt to drive him to extend the Yankees advance at 10. His fourth and last blow of the match came in the seventh, when he struck a simple easy on the left. It was his seventh game of the season with at least three strokes.

At this point, the Yankees simply succeeded in the two -digit victory, which marked its fourth victory in their last five games. They are now sitting at 23-17 on the season. The Yankees will conclude their West Coast road trip with a series of three games against the Seattle Mariners from Monday.
With his stick at the stick, the judge also has 39 points produced, 63 strokes and 14 circuits – all lead the league. Even if the season is about six weeks old, the judge seems to be a lock to win the AL MVP award. He was listed at -1100 to win the prize on BETMGM Friday, which gives it about 92% chance of winning.
The judge's stick to the stick is certainly not going to hold. Only eight players have finished a season of more than 0.400, more recently Ed Williams in 1941. Tony Gwynn came the closest since 1994, but he dropped three shots to hit the brand.
Anyway, what the judge does so far is nothing less than historical. It remains to maintain this level in the coming months and to transform it into another deep race into a playoff series for Yankees.
