The old Cowboys Coin Hy -Coin Lewis is happy to be out of Dallas after Wednesday's trade that sent George Pickens from Pittsburgh to the American team.
The cowboys confirmed that they have acquired Pickens of the Steelers as well as a sixth round recovery choice in 2026, in exchange for a third -round choice in 2026 and a fifth round choice in 2027.

In response to the transaction, Jourdan Lewis – who signed with the Jaguars in a free agency after spending his entire eight -year career in Dallas – republished a report on trade and written: “Confirmation, God wanted me to Jacksonville.”
Pickens and Lewis made the headlines at the end of week 5 Matchup of Cowboys-Stelers last season when Pickens caught Lewis by his mask and pulled it towards the ground. An official and other players quickly took place to prevent tensions from degenerating. The Cowboys won a 20-17 victory.
“Pittsburgh needs a receiver,” Lewis said after the incident. “George Pickens is weak.”

Lewis and Pickens will not see each other immediately, because cowboys and jaguars should not meet in the regular season 2025.
Pickens goes to Dallas after three seasons at Pittsburgh. Last season, he had 59 receptions for 900 yards and three affected. The 24 -year -old made 63 catches for 1,140 yards and five affected in a career season the previous year.
During the eight seasons of Lewis with the cowboys, he harvested 386 combined plated and 9.5 bags, with 10 interceptions. He signed a $ 30 million contract over three years with Jacksonville during the offseason.
