As the title suggests, the players receive a wacky scenario and encouraged to make it dance. A well-known dance duo with more than 10 million followers on social networks, Cost N 'Mayor co-created this interactive game with invisible stories to encourage dancers and non-debuts to move, laugh and win a standing ovation (from the living room sofa).
How to play
For those of us who hate reading instructions, there is a digitable QR code provided in the box. This leads to an educational video with everything you will need to know, with Cost N 'Mayor themselves.
Each dancer is awarded a number – The game is designed for four to 12 players. Each turn, the players take turns acting as a dance captain in the order of their figures. During a round, the dance captain draws a persona card, which dictates the character they will channel (think of Lion Tamer, detective, racing car pilot). Then they choose a song card, which has a QR code which provides a clip of a familiar dance song (“Fireball”, “Stayin 'Alive”, “Titanium”). Then they choose a group card to determine if they will dance alone or with other dancers. Finally, they draw a dance card to determine which player will serve as a judge – the other members of the public can weigh, but the judge obtains the last word in the score.
Participants have two minutes on the clock to create the performance of a lifetime. Once their time spent, they dance and the judge deliberate. The score is written on a dashboard with a dry marker and the judge, according to the instructions, “holds a great revelation, style of dance competition!” The points go to the dance captain, and the winner is the player who ends with the highest scoring.
Will friendships suffer? Maybe. Will the mimes dance on “the hips do not lie”? Certainly. With countless combinations of characters, songs and members of the group, make it dance is sure you have your family on their feet (or on the ground, making the worm).
Dancers, you can particularly like stress -free nature and low challenges of this game for a busy performance season. Non-neun, loop for an intensive course to sell a performance. Whatever your level of experience, this game will convince you, you and your friends, to make it dance.
