I really treat accommodation as a hobby. Amusing is at the intersection of my love for design, food, style and people. When I think of the way I want to spend my time, being with a large company and good food in a beautiful setting is high on my list.
That being said, I thought it would be fun to consider what my dream dinner might look like – an evening where absolutely nothing is out of the question. If you also like to entertain and be in the company of others, it would be a fun prompt to ask you!
Here is an overview of what my dream dinner would look like …
Where would he be detained?
It would be outside the United States! The first place that comes to mind is Portofino. The setting would be outside, overlooking the sea. It felt the beach, fire, salt and citrus.
Who would be invited?
I have no one specific to the mind! I would love to bring together a group of eight really interesting people, each with its own skill or passion, whether cooking, art creation, writing or something else. Joe would also be there, with one of our closest friends.
What food would be served?
This dinner is not intended to be extravagant (other than the seaside). It is a truly wonderful conversation and good simple food and good cooking. Sea fruits would be involved in one way or another, oysters in particular. There would be a simple dessert and a probable pot or cigars at the end of the night.
What about drinks?
I would love to start the opportunity with a special cocktail – the one that highlights a local ingredient or simply associates well with the atmosphere of the evening. I love the idea of a bianco negroni or a kind of herbs and bitter aperitif cocktail. During dinner, I would like a great interesting wine to be served. Right now, I'm really in red orange wines or Slovenians with a light body.
What would you wear?
I would be in something long and fluid but always a little adjusted – maybe something like that!
What would the decor look like?
The table setting would be very relaxed and simple but always elegant. There would be sweet sheets, beautiful plates and heavy silverware. For curious minds, I saved some of my favorite decoration inspiration images in this Pinterest Board dinner!
What would the evening calendar look like?
The group would first meet for drinks, then sat for a quiet dinner, then played a game afterwards. I love a good game of Tablet!
