The New Go Outdoors Store of Leeds Road Retail Park in Huddersfield celebrated its big opening on 12th April, attracting more than 450 customers who were lining up for the event.
The legend of football in England and the proud Yorkshireman David Seaman cut the ribbon at 9 am, marking the official opening of the store. As part of the celebrations, Seaman participated in a question and answer session, drew a raffle and signed autograph cards, football shirts and gloves.
Adding to the excitement, the Huddersfield Town AFC mascot, Tilly The Terrier, was on site to greet visitors. The first 200 groups through the doors were also treated to Goody bags to celebrate the new store.
Paul Gavin, store manager, commented: “We are extremely excited and proud to open the new GO of Huddersfield and the opening event was a huge success. It was great to see so many customers go out to join us to celebrate.
We have had a few years shining to Go, because more and more people harvest the advantages of the outdoors for their physical and mental well-being, and this expansion is the result of this success.

The new store has a large free customer parking lot and stores a wide range of unbeatable brands, such as Rab, Oex, North Face and Berghaus, as well as trusted brands like Regatta, Craghoppers, Yeti and North Ridge
The store of over 3,000 square feet also provides services such as the boot and backpack connection, as well as a concession from the full -scale fishing republic.
