New Zealand actor Antony Starr, better known to the American public under the name of Homelander Arch-Villain of the first-rate video superhero, “The Boys”, says that although he lived in Los Angeles for a better part of the decade, his busy shooting hours kept him from afar for long periods.

“The Boys”, now in the middle of the production, during its fifth and last season, shoots in Toronto, and the new starr film, “G20” – which is starting to broadcast on the first -rate video on April 10 – was shot on the spot in Cape Town, in South Africa. “So, whatever the hour I have in Los Angeles, I like to make the most of it,” he told Times in a recent interview. “Because it's my house now and I love it.”
This is why he was enthusiastic to share what he warned in advance was an ideal super -ambitious Sunday route.
“There will be basic rules,” he said. “It's a hypothetical, so there will be a little time jumping like a Marvel film, because I'm going to understand everything. (Also) there are no calories and there is no cholesterol, ok?”
With these accepted basic rules, Starr began to sketch the following Sunday.

6 am: “Waking up” with the sun
I love making coffee in the morning (right) before the sun rises. And I meditate every morning. It's an incredible way to start the day. I use an application called “”Wake up“” by Sam Harris. It is essentially a library of different people who take you through guided meditations. It seems incredibly pretentious, (but) it prepares me for the day. Then, I let the dogs in the bedroom) and I have about half an hour to relax.
8:30 am: saddle in the sprinter
I have a 2005 van Dodge Sprinter, which I have since just before Covid-19. It was equipped by Vancraft In San Diego, and they do a good job. It is completely self -sufficient. He has a good hot shower on the back, he has a small kitchen and he has a surfboard storage, which is good because I am a surfer.
I have two Super Mutts, Maxine and her boring little brother, Oliver, who is from Tijuana, Mexico. I just adopted Ollie last year from a place called Borders In Van Nuys who do incredible work (pet rescue). So we all take care of the van and take the road.
9 p.m.: Go to uncle Paulie for a prosciutto
I first head to Uncle Paulie On Third Street. There is one (sandwich called The Prosciutto), which is only prosciutto, basil, mozzarella and a little balsamic burnt. So I understand this (for later) – it's just the first of several food stops – and then I head to King's Road CafeWhere I will probably get an Americano and a croissant.
10 a.m.: A side trip with Sidecar donuts
After that, we will go north, but we have to stop at Sidecar donuts first in Santa Monica. My favorite is The Huckleberry (Donut). He is pink and has obtained all these little pieces and bobs on it, and it is absolutely delicious. So I understand that and a little more coffee.
11 am: Catch waves
There is a place in Malibu where you are on the right at the border of Ventura (County) called County Line Beach. (For my ideal Sunday) There are just enough people in the water that the chances are that if a shark attacks, it may not be me. And I'm going to surf maybe an hour and a half.
If I don't go, I would go to (North Beach at) Leo CaRRILLO (State park)Which is a nice little place because surfing breaks very well and it is also a dog beach (without friends). Everyone will be delighted to know that the van is ventilated solar power so that dogs are in a wonderful and not locked in a stifling car. Dogs love this beach. So we could spend an hour or two there.
1:30 p.m.: Reel in some fish and chips with a net of Neptune
They would take a nap while I was driving to Net of Neptune. I would certainly have something fried with one side of chips – probably the fish and chips – and then may be back in the water for 45 minutes (near there) before returning to Los Angeles and, as it is a semi -route trip, I forgot to mention that there must be music too.
I make a reading list that seems appropriate and based on characters for each work I do, and since the first of “G20” to come, I have found my playlist for that and now I am obsessed with that. There is “Hey Man Nice Shot” from filter on it, a Danzig, Foo Fighters, a New Zealand group called Headless Chickens, Iggy Pop, Joy Division, Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, a little Rammstein. It's quite hard and enough bad humor – a bit like my character in the film.
4 p.m.: Catching a movie in Ipic
There is a (cinema) that I only went several times Ipic theaters (in Westwood); There are also super comfortable chairs and a dinner option. I am not so interested in the food part, but I will completely overload popcorn – as many recharges as possible. It's my kryptonite. But on this (ideal Sunday), it will not make me sick.
The last film I saw was probably “nosferatu” – although I am not sure if I saw it there or elsewhere. I do not arrive in the cinema as much as I wish, and I thought that this film was good for all the reasons why the others did not love it.
6 p.m. Go Princess and the PE
Once I got out of there, it's probably the time of the nap because fundamentally, if I did not go out this particular Sunday, I would have spent the whole day watching movies in bed. I got crazy recently and I transformed my bed into a complete nest – I think it must be because I get older – so I have one of these memory polka dot mattress and I recently found this cover which is like a (crossing between) a short -pole and a large super -Douce throw. (And) suddenly, I turned into a princess and pea. If I don't wake up that (nap and sleep overnight), it could be realistic at the end of the day. It is a kind of dice roll. (Otherwise) there are two options.
7 p.m.: More movies or engine in El Compona
The option would be that I wake up, that I return, that I launch the television and that I put a film. My favorites are “the mission” and “goodfellas”, so it would probably be one of these two. (Option B The component (in Hollywood).
It's simple, there is no claim, there are no BS. I love their stands, I have the impression that it was there (forever) and they have a live Mexican group. They have a shrimp cocktail there that when it comes out, it's like a meal in itself. It reminds me of the shrimp cocktail in this little chain in New Zealand called Cobb & Co. that my parents took us.
8:30 p.m.: Go back to this donut
Because I am only 20% to 30% of social animals, I finished at 8:30 am (PM). An hour and a half is long enough for me to socialize. Then it's (at home and) more dogs. They enter and are allowed on the bed.
There is a good chance that there is a kind of sugar at the end of the day. Probably hot chocolate – I do mine because I don't like it too sweet. It is essentially just cocoa (powder), milk and a little sweetener. And it was probably at this time that this Sidecar donut (I wore all day) between. Then it would probably be lights around 10:30 p.m. – I couldn't even finish a film – because I tend to get up early in the morning.
