Three judges generally determine the result of a boxing competition if the fight did not end with a judgment.
The score of a fight is subjective and often leads to differences in dashboards, which has caused a lot of controversy in the past.
The judges decide a “winner” of each individual cycle using the 10 -point system. Ten points are assigned to the fighter considered to have been more effective, and nine would generally go to their opponent.
If a fighter is overturned, receives a standing count or is penalized for a fault by the referee, he is deduced from another point.
There are also rare cases in which a dominant fighter would receive a 10-8 tour, even if he has not marked a knockdown.
If the two fighters are overturned, the turn will be declared a draw or 10-9 to the most successful fighter.
The judges can mark a 10-10 round if they do not feel that one or the other has been a clear winner of the round.
