Philadelphia (AP) – Bryce Harper should take another swing at paternity – and he did it with a blue bat.
The Slugger of Philadelphia Phillies used a blue bat in his first appearance in the match on Monday evening against San Francisco as part of a gender revelation for his fourth child.
MVP twice NL, Harper announced in a team meeting that his family was to develop. He then asked All-Star Shortstop Trea Turner for a decisive pass With a most unusual revelation.
Harper had ordered two tailor-made bats to Victus Sports-one of the bat manufacturers that produced the Torpille bat – In pink for a girl and blue for a boy.
“He's a fairly creative guy,” said Turner. “He was nice enough to ask me to do it and I thought it was a good time for him and his family.”
Harper and his wife, Kayla, already have three young children together. The Harpers have a son named Krew and two girls, Brooklyn and Kamryn. Harper was not immediately available to comment after Phillies lost 10-4.
“Whenever you have a child, I know it's a fourth, but still, it's pretty cool,” said Turner.
Turner had pink and blue bats in the canoe before the phillies touch in the first round. Turner tackled Harper with the pink bat before removing it and exchanging it for blue.
“He thought he had a girl, so I had to play a little with him,” said Turner. “Of course, he was a boy. I ended up giving him blue and he was rather happy.”
Harper hit the blue bat. He resumed swinging his regular bat for the rest of the match and finished 1 for 5.
“I think it would have been excited anyway,” said Turner. “Now, he has two of everyone. I already feel a kind of full family, but each time you can add another person to the family, I think it's special. I think he's super excited.”
