The Metro suspended the collection of prices in its trains and buses until Sunday while forest fires continue to ravage certain parts of the county, officials announced on Saturday.
However, people who wish to take a train south for the County of Orange or the North to Ventura and Santa Barbara were disappointed. Transport managers have closed all Amtrak and Metrolink trains between San Diego and San Luis Obispo for pre-filled work on the slopes throughout the weekend.
It has frustrated some Angelenos. “By wanting to get out of Los Angeles for a few days,” said a person on Reddit. “Does Metrolink not offer services?”
The trains always traveled east to the inner empire and antelope Valley.
Metro officials said earlier this week than the county supervisor and president of the metro council Janice Hahn authorized the agency to stop collecting prices in its local bus and iron system. The agency has extended free journeys throughout the weekend to help residents travel, including shelters.

Lines 180 and 217: The buses stand out between Los Feliz Boulevard / San Fernando and Vermont / Prospect due to slaughtered power lines. Bus using Sunset, Alvarado, Glendale, Rowena, Hyperion, Glendale and San Fernando.
Lines 660 and 662: No service north of Washington Boulevard in the Pasadena and Altadena regions due to forest fires.
Line 296: The buses turn away at 5 highways between boulevard Los Feliz and Western avenue.
Line 602: Canceled due to the fire in the Palisades region.
Line 690: The buses in both directions use the 210 motorway between Foothill / Arroyo and Paxton / McLay.
Metro Micro: In Pasadena, Altadena and Sierra Madre, the service north of Woodbury Road, New York Drive and Sierra Madre Boulevard are suspended. The service was restored in the following areas:

* Boulevard Lincoln south of Rue Montana
* Montana Street and South between 210 Freeway and Los Robles Avenue
* Rue Elizabeth and the South between avenue Los Robles and Avenue Hill
* New York Drive and South between Hill Avenue and Altadena Drive
